IATA / ATP Global Indicators.

There are twelve Global Directions defined by IATA.  The following tables provide the IATA two-character GI code, used in ATPCo fare data and the geographic definition that applies to each code.

IATA  CODE
WH	Fare components/sectors totally within the Western Hemisphere
EH	Fare components/sectors entirely within the Eastern Hemisphere
	Within Area 2
	Within Area 3
	Between points in Area 2 and Area 3 not on the FE, TS, and RU route
AT	Fare components/sectors between Area 1 and Area 2 via the Atlantic
	Fare components/sectors between Area 1 (except for ABCPU) and Area 3 via the Atlantic
	Fare components/sectors between ABCPU and TC3 (except Southeast Asia) via the Atlantic
	[Note: ABCPU = Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay]
PA	Fare components/sectors between Area 1 and Area 3 via the Pacific
RU	Fare components/sectors between Russia (Europe) and Area 3 when via non-stop service between Russia (Europe) and Japan, Korea and not via another country(ies) in Europe
SA (AT)	Fare components/sectors between ABCPU and Southeast Asia via the Atlantic
AP	Fare components/sectors between Area 2 and Area 3 via both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans
FE	Fare components/sectors between Russia (Europe) / Ukraine and Area 3 using nonstop service to/from Area 3 other than Japan/Korea/Taiwan
PO	Fare components/sectors between Area 2 and Area 3 on polar flights from/to Europe-Japan/Korea via Area 1 on any routing which does not touch a point in North America south of 60 degrees North Latitude
TS	Travel between Area 2 and Area 3 via Siberia
	-Travel via Europe and Japan/Korea on nonstop Trans-Siberia routing

RW	Filed Round the World fares
